Pub dates

No, this doesn't mean that I'm going on a pub crawl. I have investigated the publication dates for the The Singing (which comes out next year, as any good Pellinorite knows).

The Singing will come out in Australia first, in June 2008. And then the UK and the US will both publish it in September.

Meanwhile, the Australian re-release of the Pellinor series (in those gorgeous UK covers) will happen in May, with all three books in the Story So Far. The US paperback edition of The Crow is due out August 2008.

2008 is also my debut in Germany, where Verlagsgruppe Lübbe is bringing out The Gift (Die Gabe) and The Riddle (Das Rätsel) in the northern spring. They also publish JRR Tolkien, Tamora Pierce, Mary Gentle, Robin Hobb and Marion Zimmer Bradley, so I'm in good company.

*claps hands happily* YAY! June?! Can I wait that long? I suppose I have to, though. I'm just going to impatiently wait then.
Good luck with the editing etc then :) I'm very excited about this release date!

I'm so excited about The Singing coming out! I cant believe I'll have to wait until September, though:( But, I guess, as long as I get to read it I'll be fine.
I'm sure that all the kids in Germany will greatly appreciate having such wonderful books as the Pellinor series to read, I know I sure do!
Thanks so much for posting the pub dates (I was wondering as to the exact dates everything was coming out).
Can I just say that I love the Lay of Andomian and Beruldh and the Den Raven slave song at the beginning of the fourth section of The Crow. I memorized both of them I love them so much!

September? -groan- I don't know if I can wait that long. I'll try, though. I'm so excited about The Singing. I can't wait to see what happens!

September?! How can I wait that long?

The excitement is unbearable...

September?! Please don't let that change... I don't want to wait an extra year like I had to between the AUS and US releases of "The Crow"

I'm sorry it's so long! But it's definitely on the way...

No, it won't change Max: the US (which started publishing the books a couple of years after Australia) has finally caught up. So the poor Australians have had to wait longer, really...! And now it's all equal! Sort of.

Me, I can't wait for the boxed set :)

Hi there Imwolf - I'm glad you like the series so much! If you click on the FAQs in the sidebar, you'll find one frequently asked question is precisely that one.
